I do my best but I’m not perfect. I sometimes mess up. But I genuinely admit my mistake, fix it, and move on.
Sure, I may have taken all the petty cash at work and spent it on a cotton candy machine and jugglers and face painters and acrobats and contortionists for a mini-office party — it was really convenient, they come to the office — but I thought it was important for office morale.
I realized the mistake when the belly dancers who came highly recommended for a small additional charge were just getting started and my boss walked in, back early from her trip abroad. I was wrong. Maybe it wasn’t the best use of office funds.
Let’s move on. Everyone back to work, thank you.
